Managing retail technologies that allow shoppers to move between digital and physical experiences doesn’t have to be complex, but we see the struggle every day. Homegrown or outdated point-of-sale software may work fine for traditional transactions. But, when inadequately scaled to serve today’s shopper across a complex journey, we understand why some retailers may perceive point-of-sale technology as a business inhibitor.

At Veras Retail, our mission is to help retailers harness point-of-sale and adjacent technologies on a single platform to deliver a unified customer experience. Rohit Vir
FOUNDER & CEO

With over 25 years of vast software industry knowledge specializing in retail software, Rohit envisions a unified retail experience where the store represents a vital connection to consumers. Prior to Veras Retail, he owned the architecture and construction of JDA’s Point-of-Sale software. Rohit regularly advises businesses and is a thought leader for end-to-end retail business implementations that connect digital and physical experiences to the store.

Bruce brings 20 years of experience in retail technology across a variety of roles. Building on his experience as an assistant store manager, he joined JDA Software (now Blue Yonder) in 1998, and evolved from training and implementation to software design, to direct the functionality of JDA’s suite of store system products for over a decade. Bruce’s primary focus is helping retailers better connect with customers by modernizing in-store processes and technology.

With over 15 years of proven marketing experience from Fortune 100s to startups, Kathy is instrumental in delivering the company’s message and brand strategy for growth. She also leads partner development to accelerate customer success through joint solution innovation and new sales channels. Kathy’s extensive track record cultivating brands and growth at technology companies include Airobotics, Openforce, Schneider Electric, and Blue Yonder.

Rusty is responsible for driving Veras Retail’s best-in-class customer care and experience. He brings 40+ years of retail knowledge spanning store management, buying and merchandising, store and merchandising systems, loss prevention, and data science. With more than half of his career focusing on retail consulting, Rusty makes it his mission to build strong relationships that help customers win and achieve long-term success.
